Sometimes it can be an intimidating challenge to try and capture the incredible beauty and awe-inspiring emotion of a landscape.
“How do I go about photographing something that has been captured thousands of times before?” This question kept nagging me as I began the hike from Beer to Branscombe.
Beginning at Beer’s working beachfront (home to crab, lobster and scallop fishermen), moving along the stunning cliff side, and through the livestock fields that line the Jurassic Coast, I was struck by the similarities between landscape photography and photojournalism. “How do I photograph” became re energized and refocused by the question: how am I documenting this space?
